Stephanie Snow, OALA CSLA
Stephanie graduated from the University of Toronto in 2000 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree and became a full member of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects in 2006. She has been involved in a broad range of projects in both the municipal and private sectors. Having contributed to the profession as both a municipal client and private consultant, she brings to any project her ability to build effective solutions across stakeholder groups.
Stephanie has been involved in the design and implementation of recreational, institutional, commercial, and community based projects. Her strength lies in her extensive experience in the areas of parks, trails, streetscapes, playgrounds, educational landscapes, and habitat restoration. Stephanie has successfully collaborated with conservation authorities, local and regional municipalities, developers, school boards, community and sports groups. She is also knowledgeable in the development application process, government and conservation authority permitting and approvals, and the development and implementation of a range of municipal master plans.
As a Principal Landscape Architect with Harrington McAvan Ltd, Stephanie is project leader, responsible for all aspects of each project's development and implementation. She is the primary contact for clients and is actively involved in background research and analysis, concept and master plan development, detailed design, development of contract documents, contract administration, and construction supervision.
