Established in 1974, the firm's award-winning portfolio includes park, trail, and water play designs, stream restoration, wetland creation, urban streetscapes, commercial and institutional developments, and operation planning / progressive rehabilitation plans for pits and quarries.

 

Landscape Architectural Student /Intern - (Markham office location)

The position provides the opportunity to work directly with senior Landscape Architects in the firm as well as skilled staff in a broad range of projects.

 

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated person who works well in a team environment. Attention to detail and excellent graphic, communication, and organizational skills are important. 

 

Required:       Excellent AutoCAD and Photoshop skills.
Access to a personal vehicle is an asset.

 

This position is at our Markham location.  Earnings commensurate with experience.

We are currently seeking a talented professional to join our Markham team at an intermediate level.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD and Photoshop, and an interest in becoming a well rounded practitioner.  You will be assisting in the creation of tender and construction drawing packages, cost estimates, presentation material, and associated graphics.  You will work on a broad range of projects and should look at this position as an opportunity for professional growth.

 

Required:

  • Membership in the OALA;
  • Strong AutoCAD and Photoshop skills;
  • Ability to think in 3 dimensions and visualize a site;
  • Experience using Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Access to a personal vehicle is considered an asset.
